Tide's out ...

Nae man can tether time or tide ... wrote Robert Burns; but we tried to hold up the ebb & flow of the sea.

Some time ago, we dropped our tide-clock (left), since when it has always shown that the tide was high. Eventually I got around to ordering a new one, which arrived today.

I hope Mrs jml likes the replacement, rather than the more 'traditional' one.
