All the nice girls love a sailor,
All the nice girls love a tar;
For there's something about a sailor --
Well, you know what sailors are!

Bright and breezy, free and easy,
He's the ladies' pride and joy.
Falls in love with Kate and Jane,
Then he's off to sea again --
Ship Ahoy! Ship Ahoy!
- 'All the nice girls love a sailor' Trad.

For some reason this shot reminded me of the quote in Gerald Durrell's autobiography 'My Family and Other Animals' (or is it the sequal?). He tells of his growing up in England and in Corfu, during which, several rather eccentric tutors are employed to try and educate him with matters not related to natural history. One of these, was a man who loved bad puns...
