Raindrops keep falling

The rains were back today.

Harisen writes:

John,
It is raining heavily here today. I was in Lusangazi with the carpenter sticking in the wooden poles to build the green house, but we were stopped by the rains. I took a picture of Mary Mwanza who was coming to work while it was raining.
Regards,
Harisen.

Mary Mwanza is one of the women workers on our seed farm.
She is 32 and married with four children. Full time employnent at about 1 euro per day is making a considerable difference to her life (it enables her to eat).
Her employment includes the benifit of a plot of land (with water) and seeds enabling her to grow her own vegetables all year round.
Life is hard in the rainy season, when it gets cooler. Her porus house and clothes will get wet and stay so until the rains finish and the sun emerges again.
Many people suffer this without clean water and with little food!!
