On the roof

This morning on the roof of the boilerroom between unit 3 and 4.
The big pipe on the right is the so-called bypass damper which is used when the unit is on turning gear with the valves in the outlet of the boiler being closed.
In that way we can keep the boiler warm and we lead the air supplied by the gasturbine on turning gear (130 RPM) past the boiler. (the gasturbinecompressor is a kind of huge fan and even on turning gear it produces a strong wind....

The other pipes are vents of the gassystem and one of the lubricating oil tank.

Completely at the right is a damper of the safety valve of the low pressure steamdrum.
