Parish Boundary

Back Blipped from break in the Lakes: in Ambleside, avoiding the well-known Bridge House (built as a folly over the beck and now the property of the National Trust) I saw this boundary stone set on the parapet of the road bridge. It refers to the the parts of the town North of Stock Ghyll (Above Stock) and that to the South (Below Stock) which are two separate Parishes.
