Statue

Zihuatanejo has a number of statues scattered throughout town, but none say Mexico to me like this sunbathing bronze located on a rock between Playas Madera and Principal. It signifies what many of us do pretty much everyday while here, head to the beach and enjoy the sunshine. While much of this beach is set aside for commerce (note the fishing fleet in the background), others are mostly for recreation. At all of them, the water remains warm and inviting.
