Poet, Philosopher and Failure

This gravestone at St. Peter's Church in Heysham, Lancashire is a bit of a local mystery. Some have read it literally and assumed that it is the grave of Sarah Hannah. I assumed that it was the grave of James Jones, and it was he who was the "poet, philosopher and failure", Sarah Hannah being his first wife.
