Evening in mono

The option to persist was there. But changing was a better idea. And so I did. Picked the book with the faded red cover and yellowing pages. It caught me in a firm grip and dragged me in headlong. But I don't think we are ever growing backwards. It's always a step ahead, even if it means returning to fill the gaps. I have been thinking awhile of bringing the words back. But like so much else, timing is crucial.

A quiet Saturday spent indoors.
