Bridge Series Photo # 3

For the 3rd installment of my bridge series blips I took a shot of the Amtrak bridge, that runs parallel to the Hudson River and spans the mouth of the Harlem River, that connects the Bronx with Manhattan. The large span swings open to allow boat traffic to pass. I got there just in time to catch an Albany Amtrak train en route to Penn station. Across the Hudson river are the picturesque Palisades of New Jersey where if one looks hard can see the switchback road that goes down to the Englewood Boat Basin, a location of more than 1 of my previous blips.

Thanks for looking, in case you missed them here are Bridge Photo # 2 and Bridge Photo # 1
