food for thought

started a food diary today in an effort to see what i'm doing wrong - i tried it once before and it didn't really say much, but i'm being more thorough this time and writing down carbs, protein, fat etc as well as just calories. we shall see. am bored of veg and salad and of feeling hungry already...

new start for a friend of mine too - no longer will N have to listen to me swearing and raging about the computer system, he's now at the other end of the room on a different desk. should be a good move for him (here's hoping the details fall into place), and that desk will benefit from his being on it, but it's a bugger for the desk he leaves behind - not only will i miss him stealing my sweeties but we'll all miss the amount of work he puts in and the quality of it. but congrats and good luck - one bright piece of news amid all the crap swirling, hope it all works out, pet.
