new socks from dana arrived in the mail yesterday :-) a christmas pressie definitely worth waiting for - toastie warm, my fave colour and handmade just for me! supercool gift, no? friends who are real friends are the best kind of friends.

socked from leftfield by an unexpected sighting - but finally extricated some info. details lacking, but what there is is explanatory - shows how distant things are and have been for several months tho. i knew this, but it's still ouch to have it confirmed. ah well. maybe this is a tie a knot and move on moment - it feels like it's always me doing it, but equally part of me says it's worth it.
