Unhinged

The sandstone surround to the front door is showing its weather-worn age and this rusting piece of iron must once have held a much earlier door. It's February....shouldn't it be warmer than this? In a biting cold north wind, it didn't feel that warm even in the sun. I did go further than my front doorstep, and took some other photos, but I liked this one best.
