After our early morning shift this morning, due to bad weather, we anchored at the other end of the island at several lovely beaches.

We had a feast of fresh fish for breakfast, Dad had set a net and we caught 2 flounder, 4 snapper, and 11 mullet. Yum!

We then went ashore and for walk down several lovely sandy beaches where I spotted this tree, and then swam in the lovely clear water. We also got some fresh cockles.

Then it was out fishing in the Firth of Thames in idyllic calm conditions. I caught a snapper 52cm long, a pretty good size; and then back into the bay for dinner.
