Big Burn...

Theres a small stream that runs at the front of our garden which is normally a gentle trickle. After a couple of days of decent rain, it is now looking like a proper wee river. Its only just making it under next door's bridge.

It feeds down into the River Clyde which is about 500 metres away but when the tide is high and so is the burn, the outlet gets blocked and all hell breaks loose when the water has no where to go.

Fortunately that has only happened once.
