Nellie the Elephant packed her trunk

When my Dad went into the RAF he took this trunk. When I started boarding school aged 9 I took this trunk. One term my Dad took me back to school with my trunk ...... In a bubble car, a white one from what I remember. This was quite a journey because there were five hills between home and school which meant getting out of the car at the bottom of each hill, taking the trunk off the roof where it was strapped on, walking up the hill carrying the trunk, Dad walking back down to the car, me sitting on the trunk waiting for him to drive up the hill; then strapping the trunk back onto the roof and driving on to the next hill .....5 times.
