Yesterday and yesteryear

The wee man brought home his class photo the other day. It's a new style, all changed from the formal rows which have been the staple for class photos from time immemorial. It's also in stark contrast to an old album of family photos from the 1860s - formal poses, gilt pages, brass clasps. I like both.
