The Lit Club

Frome Literary and Scientific Institute (known as The Lit Club), which was built in 1865, is now home to the town's museum. It's one of over 500 listed buildings in Frome.

The road to the left used to be the main road to Bath but now it's the only road into the town's main car park. I believe it used to be used by the Frome Flyer (the stagecoach service, not Jenson Button, although he might have driven along there a time or two). The road to the right was cut around the same time as The Lit was built.
