Friars Vennel , Dumfries

I was walking down the Vennel to the SNP office on the corner of Irish St , being buffeted and dampened by the day, when I looked up to see the silver sheen on the pavement and the Devorgila Bridge above the river , with a rising lane behind. And it lifted my spirits!
