AS2B regulars will recall previous insights into the the compositional challenges of my (much loved) 85mm lens (a daunting 136mm equivalent on my 10d's cropped sensor).

Some shrewd(ish) internet shopping led to this 17-40mm beauty, which - literally - opens up a host of new possibilities.

This will doubtless be the first of many brooding landscapes.
