Australia and Waitangi day

My mate Ross here had to work on Australia day because of the floods. Hi partner, Trix is a Kiwi. So, today they celebrated a delayed Australia Day and an Early Waitangi Day.

Jo and I went off to a local delicatessen that specialises in New Zealand foods and souveniers. Amongst other things I bought a little flag to go with my little Australian one.

Ross and I cooked sausages and kangaroo burgers on the BBQ and some prawn and corn fritters on his Crown stove. I ate way too much.

Later this afternoon when we came home I went to the garage to cut some steel. The piece of steel I bought this morning along with a pile of other goodies to use on my stove restoration. That has gotten the noisy bit out of the way so tomorrow I can get up and start welding it all up. The stove is nearing it's completion. The question is will I be able to bring myself to make a fire in it?
