19, 20, 21

-Backblip -

They came from the north, south, east, west and just around the corner to celebrate #1's 21st Birthday. Postponed from three weeks ago due to rescheduled University exams, we danced the night away with his two friends who were 19 and 20. About 180 turned up, and everyone really got into the dancing to The Hallanshankers Ceilidh Band. The kilts were swirling. I think my favourites were the Russian Step and the Highland Schottishce.

This is one of the few shots I took, as my friend DM came along and took nearly 600 photos on his fabby Canon 5D with nice red ring lens - can't wait to see those. Can't wait to have one of those either.

It's been a very busy week preparing for the event, but worth all the effort. We got home about 1 am. #1 & #2 went off to the After Party Party ... as you do.

Quite nice to spread the celebrations out over a few weeks. Oh to be 21 again.
