Auricularia auricula-judae

Commonly known as Jews ear fungus. Occurs mainly on elder but not exclusively. A walk today, through the Appleton Dingle, a course I haven't been on since I did cross country running at school. There was no path then, you had to fight through the Rhododendrons.
