A Sasanach's Skye photos

Old Man of Storr

Viewed looking up from below with the misty cliffs behind.

I had set up the camera on the tripod inside my van due to the rain. I then, as in other similar circumstances, draped a Co-op plastic film food bag over the camera and set the unit up in preparation for a dry spell.

In due course the rain lifted long enough for me to take some pictures. In fact there was a little sunshine to brighten the foreground. When the sun comes from behind the mist it creates some unusual colouring too.

Today it is generally cold and wet but it is still good to get out.
