Ice sculptures

Some of the sculptures entered in the 24th annual ice sculpture competition. The sculptors come from all over the world - China, Japan, Poland, Sweden, Mexico - to name a few. It's all part of Winterlude which is how Ottawa tries to make winter acceptable.

Yesterday's 'what is it blip' was indeed a radiator - specifically the one in the front hall.
