Summer Rose

She lifts her head to the dull grey sky,
looking for refreshment after the strong heat of yesterday.
She swayed in the wind and welcomed the glisetning droplets,
holding them elegantly upon her delicate petals.

She tilts her head gracefully,
As her perfume floats through the air.
While the light captures her beauty
on this dull Summer's day.

We had rain today, good steady rain which watered and refreshed the garden.
The temperature has dropped and theres a welcomed coolness in the air.
A quiet day on the home front, a few jobs were done as a 'surprise' parcel is expected tomorrow :)
