3 Peaks Cycle Challenge

Although not the most inspiring of photos it was the only one I had chance to take. The 10,000 people at Cairo International Airport made for a stressful check in.

As Sophie, John and I battled through the crowds of people in the airport it was easy to forget why so many people were there. In the trip from school to the airport we saw numerous tanks, army personnel and some seriously heavy duty guns.

Extremely nervous times. No real change in the protests. There are swelling numbers in Tahir Square (tahir is Arabic for liberation, how appropriate) and President Mubarak still refuses to leave office. Instead he sacked his entire government somewhat missing the point of the protests!
