Cookies!

Last day at work tomorrow before a few well-earned days off. Thought I'd make the boys a treat and knock up a batch of chocolate-chip cookies to take in with me as a pre-birthday celebration. Apparently the rule is that you bring in cakes on your birthday, except I'll be off. So I thought I'd do this instead.

Bang goes the diet - I've already 'sampled' one for quality control purposes... yum! Hoorah for random American cookie recipes off the internet!!!

Chicken-pox update: Wee D is looking even spottier today, the poor thing. He's been a bit quiet today and not his usual noisy self. I'm quite sure he'll manage to perk up in time for the weekend... :-)
