BBC Broadcasting House

Tonight we went into London to see a recording of BBC Radio 4's News Quiz. We've applied for tickets several times and we finally got lucky. We had to get there early as they give out more tickets than there are seats. We were there in plenty of time and joined the long queue outside Broadcasting House in Portland Place. Fortunately it had stopped raining by then.

There was lots of waiting around - we were in the queue outside at 5.30, doors open at 6.15 and then the it finally started at 7.30. The recording was good fun though - guests included Sue Perkins, Fred McAuley and Jeremy Harding. They will edit 28 minutes out of the 90 minutes recorded for broadcast tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what gets left in.

I'll have to listen on Saturday as I'm running a Quiz Night at my son's school tomorrow night. Think everything is ready - just need to get my A/V tutorial tomorrow afternoon.
