House Sparrow

Another day spent reading - there's a meeting tomorrow afternoon to talk about what I've been reading, so I'm going to have to gather my thoughts tomorrow morning to decide what I think about what I've been reading.

In the meantime, my reading was interrupted when I became aware of a bit of a kerfuffle in the trees outside. A quick look showed that there was a whole load of house sparrows apparently nibbling on the branches of the tree. Could there be some fresh buds of some sort that the birds like to eat? - certainly looked that way!
