Plucky Duck

Here's a picture of one of the hundreds of ducks that congregate around the bridge in Bakewell.
Signs have recently gone up telling people to stop feeding the birds as there are now so many flocking around that the so called Bakewell 'Clean Team' have decreed that enough is enough and there is to be no more chips and bread fed to the birds.
Nobody takes any notice though.
This winter loads of gulls have arrived, maybe it's a sign of the state of the seas that they get better fed inland.
This little duck made me smile as he stands in the fast flowing water, trying to look tough as he eyes up his prospective date!
