New toy

So I took the plunge and got an eeePC. It's basically a tiny laptop (no CD drive and a 7" screen). I wanted it so I can carry around a computer anywhere on campus; it's under 2 pounds, so I don't even notice the weight really.

The software (Xandros) is ok, but not what I wanted, so I installed my own.

I like it. If you're looking for an inexpensive (under $400) computer for moving around a lot, I'd check it out (Best Buy or other big-box stores might have them). Should be good for taking pictures and uploading them on the run, since my editing software (the GIMP) runs rather nicely.
