Alex Salmond MSP at the BBC

I went to BBC Scotland in Glasgow this evening to watch a recording of the latest comedy series, "Life of Riley" with Caroline Quentin and Neil Dudgeon. As we were leaving, Alex Salmond, the current First Minister of Scotland, came out of the building and very kindly posed for photographs. I couldn't miss that Blip opportunity!

I had never been to a TV programme recording with actors before (only musical recordings) and found it all very interesting. So many people involved. Caroline was lots of fun, very professional, and ready to laugh at herself when she managed to leave her script on the kitchen hob during one of the takes. I particularly noted the makeup and hair stylists coming to touch up and restyle between every take - such attention to detail.
