Thumbnails

Spent some time researching and working out various ideas for my next painting. These tiny sketches, also known as "thumbnails" are very helpful in that they help me to explore lots of preliminary concepts and catch any compositional problems before actually having to commit to the more detailed, larger drawing phase.
