La Font's Valentine Race

Random event number two (number one being the poker) of our Spanish get away saw us take part in the annual 10k Valentines Race. Having been warned that it was a very tough course, going up and down hills (both steep and long) I'd given myself a modest target of finishing in under 50 minutes. Once I'd faught through the pack and found my stride I was happy with the way the race developed. I finished in 43.08 minutes (winning time of 34mins) and placed 180 out of approx 2000+.

Not a bad day's work.

In Other News
This is Sarah (and me...blue) finishing. I went back to spur her on and was really chuffed to see her doing as well as she did. She set her own PB!
