Old Log Dead Leaves

I know. It's just an old log with a bunch of dead leaves. Then, why did I have to go back to this a second time? I took this same picture yesterday, but then used the cookie picture instead. Something made me want that picture though, so today I went trudging through the woods to find that special stump. It wasn't easy, but here it is. I know this won't appeal to a lot of you, but something about the contrasts of color and the textures makes me like it. Tomorrow I'll strive for something more alive.
