Rusty VW at the Royal Academy

F and I walked the back streets, starting from tantalising smells of Borough Market at London Bridge. We chose streets at random and came across Cross Bones Graveyard, which was new to us. There are always things to discover in the city.

We noticed that the Young Vic had a nice, reasonably priced restaurant that we really must try sometime; meandered behind Waterloo (noting some nice second-hand shops); craned our necks up at the London Eye, which was at a standstill for some maintenance; danced over the Hungerford Bridge to the jaunty tune of trumpet and drum buskers on the Southbank; sat on a bench in Trafalgar Square to watch the world go by; bought tasty goods from Fortnum & Mason, which we scoffed in the courtyard of the Royal Academy; and spent a long while browsing the shelves of Waterstone's Piccadilly.

I didn't intend to have a person in this blip, but he appeared while the photo was being taken and I quite liked the effect.

All in all a great London Adventure day. And it was warm enough for the guinea pig trio to mow the lawn while we were out!
