Darnell Collection

Went to a fashion parade at the Carrington this afternoon, where dresses from the 20s, 30s and 40s were modelled.

The Darnell Collection is a vast private collection of vintage clothing, curated by Charlotte Smith, a Blackheath resident.
The bulk of the collection was bequeathed to her by her godmother, Doris Darnell, a quaker from Pennsylvania.
