Foggy day

A low fog lasted most of the morning as I drove our son to a scout hike near the village of Fenagh, Co Roscommon. I photographed this scene on the bog near Roosky.

The sun broke through eventually and you could feel the slight warmth on top of the hill at the end of the hike. A spectacular view across the landscape towards Lough Key unfolded as the mist lifted.

Then back down to a bbq. It would have been a perfect day if Ireland had eliminated their error count. We had France on the rack.

Losing by three points, so so frustrating...
