A Canterbury Tail

Polseden Lacey

Our last full day in the UK. We went for a walk with Barking's family and some friends. The walk was around a National Trust house called Polseden Lacey. True to form this trip we opted not to go into the house to have a look around.

In the afternoon we packed up our gear.Barking's big sister and family came over to Barking's folks for a last catch up. We got some photo's with the kids and had a nice time watching them put on a show. All too soon it was time for the kids to go and time to say goodbye to them and Barking's sis. The only bad thing about living in New Zealand is that it is 12000 miles from our families, the distance is never felt so much as when we are leaving.

To my folks and Barking's we have had a great time, it has been fantastic to see you all and we have really enjoyed spending the last 4 weeks with youl. I have particuraly enjoyed getting to know our nieces better and meeting our nephews for the first time. To both my brother and Barking's sister you should be very proud of your kids, they have been brilliant, and we will miss them lots.

Till next time.
