Bugging You

Late blip tonight. I went up to Nelson straight after work with Kiwilizzie. We had dinner with fellow blipper Twigs, before going on to a meeting. We arrived at Twigs' house before she got home so sat in her garden listening to the cicadas. Wow, they were LOUD!

I'm taken with the colours in the sunlight, but more than that I love those sheer wings with the fine patterns in them. Amazing that these wee critters can put out such volume. He wouldn't be more than 2 inches long, but he could certainly give you a headache in a short time.
