Painting

Bro3 got the chance this afternoon while Bro4 was having a snooze to paint the Thomas, James and Percy engines he got as a birthday gift. He knew that painting them while his little brother was around wasn't going to go well so he has patiently waited for a perfect opportunity to arise.

He, the table and, fortunately, the engines are all now covered in paint.

A very successful couple of hours.


I was surprised and fairly impressed at how methodical he was. He used one colour at a time and painted all the sections of the different engines that were the particular colour he was using before moving on to the next colour. Shows how much he's growing up, it doesn't seem that long ago he would happily have slapped the paint on all over the models with little regard for what colours he was using.
