soft lights and flowers

So, today being the feast of St Valentine, Mrs BH and I shared cards, and she made me a small gift: this lovely wooden tulip. I obviously have got her something lovely, but it hasn't arrived yet, despite me placing the order nearly two weeks ago. hmph.

This flower will take pride of place in the kitchen, and I think it may well accompany us on our travels in Brrenda the Bongo - it's just about the right size. I hope it lasts for years and years, or at least loads longer than the tulips one buys from florists.
