Cambodia and the world.

Libraries are not made; they grow.

(Or so said Augustine Birrell, a British politician from way-back-when who shares my birthday).

Today I attended a workshop aimed at teachers and librarians, on how to run a school library. The workshop was held at a local primary school with an excellent library. I brought some members of the Student Council from my favourite school along. Their school can't afford a librarian, so they're going to run the library themselves. The two children on the right are members of the visiting Student Council, the two on the left attend the school where the workshop was held.
