Disassociated

I took a ceramics class one semester and as I was assembling a little woman figure this guy came up to me and said that she was going to develop a complex because she had no head. I laughed and he assurred me that he was not joking and that the way I was creating the woman was indicative of how our society cuts a woman's head, personality, and intellegence away from their body and physical appearance. I tried to tell him that my completed woman would have a head but he continued on about this dichotomy of body and mind imposed on women and how people can sense it in artwork even when the completed thing is whole.

I thought he was kind of crazy, but my opinion of him is rising.
