Bali Rice fields.....

We went on an organised tour of the island today right up to the Active Volcano called Kintamani, this was quite beautiful and deadly by all accounts, as in 1963 many islanders were killed when it erupted.
Fortunately it was quite today, and with the lake by the side of it, it was a very nice setting.

Once the normal tour was over we asked our guide to take us to see real Bali, and so we went down various back roads where we saw the local people working in the rice fields and eking out a meager living, but reasonably happy as their way of life is a lot slower than ours.

After 8 hours we headed back to the hotel and the bar, and once more put these sights away for the remainder of the day.
