chair

So, today my outdoor speakers arrived (thanks for the fab xmas present, ma and pa!) and I was attempting to take a photo of the unpackingness, but caught sight of this chair under the kitchen table and thought it made a nice shot instead.

The speakers themselves reminded me of the pods in Alien when they were sitting in the box - slightly oval in shape, sitting quietly next to each other. But I was too excited to take a photo then: I had the need to de-box them straight away.

All we need now is some warm weather so we can sit outside and listen to music or the radio on the patio. Is summer nearly here, do you think?
