Listening...

to the rules of "Do This, Do That."

Brandon came up with this game while we were playing with the kids a couple of weeks ago, and now they ask to play it every time we visit their neighborhood. The idea is that all the kids follow Brandon's actions as he says "Do this" and stands on one foot, "Do this" and touches his nose, etc. But when Brandon says, "Do that" and spreads his arms out wide, no one is supposed to move. If you move when he says "Do that," you're out. It's a fun way to build listening skills, and as it gets going faster and faster, the kids start laughing harder and harder.

Today is Makabucha day here in Thailand. All the schools are closed. From what I understand, Makabucha day is a day when 1,250 monks from different places, came to pay homage to the historical Buddha or listen to Buddha's Dharma speech after his enlightenment. Maybe I'll learn more today, or if you know, you can teach me something new.
