Small Gift

I got this necklace today from a pushcart lady in school. Back on Wednesday, I bought a box of facial masks from her.

I saw her cart again today and decided to say hi, noticing that she had accessories today too. After chatting a little, we exchanged numbers, and it was a pretty nice chat. When I saw her later on packing up, I went over and said "oh you're leaving already?" and said bye.

A short while after we parted, she came over and gave me this. It might have cost just $1, but like my mum told me afterwards, a small gesture goes a long way.
