Pretty Fly (for a white guy)

Oh good, its the first fly of the year.

i don't hate flies, i can see the point of them, i know where they fit in the food chain and i understand the function they perform with carrion and aiding decomposition etc.

Its just living where we do in the country and surrounded by farms and livestock we do tend to get s bit plagued by flies when the warm weather comes along,

Still it does provide endless hours of fun chasing them around with rolled up bits of newspaper, or investing in cheap carnivorous plants which seem to flop over and die at the first sign of a fly.

By the time the summer ends i will find myself knee deep in fly carcasses, bits of newapaper and dying fly traps..
