Upstairs

A busy enough day and I had to dive out late morning to go and meet the chap from the sail loft. We spent some time in the keen wind down at Granton measuring the mast and boom. The new sail is what they call "loose footed" unlike the old one which didn't have an outhaul either - the clew was just attached to the end of the boom with by whipping cord through an eyelet. Amazing, eh?
I'm sure the new sail will give me the edge in the race round the cans. Aye, right. After work, stopped in at the SMWS (above) for the quickest of snifters before stepping home. Got the new PJ Harvey album too which is already proving a bit of a hit on the turntable at Pensioner Towers. Time for those dishes!
